Mediaeval Concert

On the same day, in the evening, a Mediaeval Concert was held at Lanteglos Church. The church had been decorated for the occasion by the Camelford Floral Club. Sarah Deere-Jones and Phil Williams, under their professional name Lammas, gave us a very entertaining concert entitled “Music for a Medieval Setting”*. Dressed in the most beautiful costume Sarah Deere-Jones played and accompanied herself on a large selection of authentic medieval musical instruments, together with her ‘servant’ Phil Williams, an equally talented musician and performer. They also entertained us with anecdotes on medieval life.
During the interval refreshments were provided by members of Lanteglos Church and it was good to see most members of the audience in medieval costume.
