Whatever the season Camelford is a convenient base for discovering the delights of North Cornwall, being only 5 miles from the pretty villages of Boscastle and Tintagel with its King Arthur legends, and the stunning beaches at Trebarwith Strand,Bossiney Haven, Benoath Cove and Tregardock Beach.

For surfing enthusiasts, Polzeath, Bude and Newquay are all within easy reach.

 

Situated near Camelford in the town of St Teath is Big dunks paintball they offer Nine game zones set in twenty acres. Varied terrains and games including rivers, bridges, forts and woodland.

and new there is outdoor laser tag game. Top-of-the-range digital laser guns, professionally organised, fun for all ages, suitable for families.

 

Lakefield Equestrian Centre is a British Horse Society and Riding for the Disabled Association approved centre offering full equestrian facilities and catering for all abilities, from complete beginner to the more advanced rider. Facilites include indoor school, weather permitting outdoor school, showjumping paddock and crosscountry course.

 

Camelford leisure Centre with indoor swimming pool suitable for swimmers of all abilities, sports hall, fitness studio and tennis court with free parking.

 

Military museum in Camelford. Dedicated primarily to the RAF Davidstow. Covers all airfields along the North Cornwall coast and the army civilian services.

 

There are many wonderful gardens and historic houses to discover, including Lanhydrock, Pencarrow, and the world famous Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

 

Cycle the Camel Trail, play golf at one of the nearby courses, walk on the moors or explore the many picturesque fishing villages such as Port Isaac, a short drive away.
